Marvin Atienza

Financial Reporting Manager

Marvin Atienza is a Financial Reporting Manager at Renaissance Regulatory Services Inc. He is responsible for bookkeeping and financial reporting for FINRA broker-dealers and specializes in SEC rules and filings.

In this role, Marvin manages the preparation of financial statements and FOCUS filings. He ensures that firms meet the SEC’s Rule 15c3-1 Net Capital requirement. He also oversees the creation and submission of all required SEC financial audit reports.

Leadership and Project Management

Marvin has a proven track record of managing projects for firms of all sizes. He leads a team of three financial reporting staff members and reviews all filing documents for both broker-dealers and investment advisers. In addition, Marvin supports compliance consultants with Section 13 filings for institutional investment managers.

Education

He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
